School closings and delays….

We have another day of school closings and delays. Closed today are Prince George’s, Charles, St. Mary’s, Calvert, Fairfax, Culpepper, Fauquier, Frederick City, Va, Loudoun, Manassas, Manassas Park City, Prince William, Spotsylvania and Stafford counties. On a 2 hour delay are Montgomery, Anne Arundel, Arlington, Falls Church and Frederick County in Maryland.

DC names their 2018 Teacher of the Year…

DC Public Schools 2018 Teacher of the Year awards goes to Tumeka Coleman. She is a third grade teacher at Walker-Jones Education Campus. Along with the recognition she will get a check for $10,000.

A new book about President Trump and his administration is in the headlines…

President Trump’s attorney’s have sent out cease and desist letters to Michael Wolff, the author of the book entitled, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House”. The letter prompted massive demand and the book was released at midnight 3 days earlier. In the book, one time Trump campaign Advisor Steve Bannon called Trump’s daughter Ivanka dumb as a brick and the meeting with Trumps son with Russians treasonous.
