Skins Fall To Cowboys, Yellow Line Shutdown, In Flight Racist Rant?

Thanksgiving Day Defeat

It is not a good day-after in the DMV for fans of the Burgundy & Gold. Three interceptions by Skins quarterback Colt McCoy, the Cowboys Ezekiel Elliot’s 121 rushing yards and Amari Cooper’s 8 catches for 180 yards all add up to the Skins losing 31-23 to Dallas on Thanksgiving Day. The Skins are off until next Monday night when they take on the Eagles. Washington and Dallas are both 6-5 and tied for first place in the NFC East.

Yellow Line Repairs

If you normally take Metro’s Yellow Line you’ll need to make some adjustment for a couple of weeks. Beginning Monday, Metro will shut down the entire Yellow Line until Sunday, Dec. 9. Repair crews will be working on structural and rail improvements. Metro will run free shuttle buses to help ease overcrowding.

DC man’s alleged racist rant

A DC man is facing charges for allegedly making racist remarks on a flight from DC to Atlanta. Authorities say witnesses on board the flight contend that David Toaff demanded “all Jews raise their hand” so he could “identify them.” Toaff was arrested and charged with obstruction and disorderly conduct.
