Tavis Smiley is speaking out against allegations of sexual misconduct with past employees at PBS. The network has suspended him following what they call credible claims by multiple women. Overnight Smiley released a video via Twitter to deny the claims and to vow he will fight the accusations.

DC Police are looking for 32-year-old Selvin Chocooj of Oxon Hill. The victim says she was en route to her destination when he pulled over on East Capitol Street and tried to rape her. The victim who was brutally beat was able to fight him off and escape.

President Trump says lawmakers have reached a deal to approve a huge tax-cutting bill. The Senate is set to vote on the bill on Monday followed by the House on Tuesday. The GOP back measure would lower the corporate tax to 21%, it will nearly double standard deductions and it would end the Obamacare insurance mandate.
