The danger is far from over in Houston, Catastrophic flooding continues…

The city of Houston is under water from Hurricane Harvey. 5 people have been killed, hundreds have been rescued while thousands remain stranded. More than 2 feet of rain is possible. The National Guard has been called in to help. President Trump is expected to arrive tomorrow.

The Rev. Al Sharpton is set to lead the 1,000 Minister’s March here in DC. The purpose to protest President Trump’s leadership and to promote the country’s inclusive future. Members of all faith groups will be in attendance. It starts at 10 and will begin at the MLK Memorial to the Justice Department.

Pepco holdings a public hearing tonight on a plan to increase rates…

Pepco is holding a 6:30 public hearing on their plan to increase rates. About $7 per month for the average customer. Tonight’s meeting will be held at the Largo Student Center at Prince George’s Community College.
