The National Weather Service is warning our region of snow coming our way. The snow fall is not expected to start until after 10 tonight. The best time to see the snow totals between 1 and 7 Wednesday morning. DC and South is expected to see from a dusting to 2 inches. Keep it on WHUR for school delays or cancelations.

DC’s Mayor reveals audit of Ballou H.S. 2017 graduating class…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser and DC Schools Chancellor Antwan Wilson are set for an 11 am press conference to discuss the details of an independent audit on Ballou High Schools 2017 graduating class. A new report last month stating that 50% of the students were ineligible because they had missed 3 months or more of class prompted the probe.

Md lawmakers create a hate crime bill to protect students at the U of MD…

Maryland lawmakers and some students have created a hate crime bill to better protect students at the University of Maryland at College Park. The measure was drafted after the unprovoked stabbing death of a black Bowie student on Maryland’s campus by a white Maryland student with ties to racist social media groups.
