US “Zero Tolerance Policy” remains…

Some lawmakers are saying the President’s executive order to stop the separation of children from their families does not do anything for the two thousand in U.S. detention centers. Right now there appears to be no plan on how to reunite those children with family members. Some parents have already been deported.

The man who killed his 2-year-old and her mother over child support gets sentenced today…

Daron Johnson who has admitted to killing his two-year-old daughter and her mother over child support is due to appear in court today for his punishment. Johnson who said he was angry over having to pay child support faces life in prison. Johnson was married to another woman at the time of the killings.

Police shooting death of unarmed black teen sparked protests last night…

Hundreds took to the streets last night in East Pittsburgh to protest the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teen by a police officer. 17-year-old Antwon Rose was shot three times in the back while running from a traffic stop. It was the officers first day on the job. He as not been identified. He’s now on administrative leave.
