A man is in the hospital following a shootout with police at the Maryland DC border. It happened last night around 7:30 at Eastern Avenue and Sligo Mill Road. The suspect fired at police first and police returned fire. No officers were injured.

Missing 4th quarter report cards for students in Prince George’s Co…

School Officials in Prince George’s County are telling parents a technical error prevented thousands of students from receiving there 4th quarter report cards on time. New copies have been made and sent out this week. If you do not receive it by next Friday, then contact your child’s school.

Prince George’s County sprays for West Nile virus…

Now that the Maryland Department of Agriculture has found mosquitos in Prince George’s County that have tested positive for the West Nile Virus — they want to spray. Tonight the following area’s where the mosquitos were found will be sprayed. They include Riverdale Park, Hyattsville, Edmonston and Rogers Heights.
