These students have focused their research on fundraising as well as black male success and retention within the field of higher education.  Because there is a substantial representation gap between higher education administrators and the makeup of the country, they believe in the importance of representation and are reaching back in order to pull forward.  On this episode of “The Journey,” Dr. Wayne Frederick chats with Brandy Jackson, M.S. and Ernest Evans, M.S., first-year students in the Higher Education and Leadership Policy Studies doctoral program at Howard University.
