Closing Out The Summer With Some Great Events



  • This weekend at Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper presents Jeff Bradshaw’s Birthday Celebration featuring Algebra & Glenn Lewis on Saturday night at 8pm. Then on Sunday the legendary Ohio Players take the stage for two shows, 7pm & 10pm.


  • Kenny Lattimore performs at the Birchmere Friday night show time is 7:30.


  • The annual Labor Day Capitol Concert takes place on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on Sunday, Sept. 3 starting at 8 p.m. This free music event kicks off the beginning of the Kennedy Center’s performing arts season, and features patriotic classics that highlight the sounds of the American landscape.


  • ATU Local 689 is teaming up with the Richards Group Foundation to host a Community Day Back to School Drive, Saturday September 2nd at the Highland Community Park starting at 12pm   More information here:
