Ease On Down The Road With “The Wiz”

Join me this morning as a travel down the yellow brick road.  That’s right, I am easing on down the road today with Dorothy, from Wiz and we’re going to share the details of the Tony Award Winning Stage Play underway at the Ford’s Theatre.  My special guest is Ines Nassara – Dorothy –  in the Tony Award Winning Stage Play “The Wiz”

Ease on down the road with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion as they try to figure out how to get Dorothy back to Kansas. The funky Tony Award-winning musical The Wiz is based on L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz with a score by Charlie Smalls. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and Best Original Score, The Wiz includes such numbers as “Slide Some Oil to Me,” “He’s the Wizard,” “No Bad News” and “Mean Ole Lion.” This Tony-winning musical is playing at the Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C thru May 12th 2018.
