We are kicking off Sickle Cell Awareness Month with information you need to know.  I’m talking this morning with the Howard University Center for Sickle Cell Disease and they have a host of activities coming up to shine the spotlight on this issue that continues to disproportionately impact the African American community.  My guest is  Barbara Harrison – Assistant Director of Community Outreach and Education for the Howard University Center for Sickle Cell Disease.
