Talented African Children Traveling The World Helping Those Less Fortunate

Powerful, entertaining, and moving.  These are just some of the words used to describe the African Children’s Choir.  These youth from various countries throughout the continent travel the world to raise money for Africa’s most vulnerable youth.  The choir will be here in the DMV this weekend and I have the choir manager with me this morning to tell us about their upcoming performance.  My guest is Tina Sipp – Choir Manager for the African Children’s Choir

The African Children’s Choir is composed of African children, ages 7 to 10 years old. Many have lost one or both parents through the devastation of war, famine and disease. They represent all the children of a continent and they demonstrate the potential of African children to become strong leaders for a better future in their land.  The group will be performing Friday, November 3rd at Manassas Baptist Church at 7pm.
