  • Join our very own Triscina Grey as she hosts the 15th Annual Pink and White Affair this Saturday at the Renaissance Hotel. Performing live, Musiq Soulchild and featuring Black Alley, Secret Society and We The Fix. It all kicks off at 8pm.


  • Tonight, check out R&B singer Anthony David with special guest Gordon Chambers. Doors open at 6, show time is 8pm.


  • Melba Moore is in town at Blues Alley starting Friday night through Sunday for two shows each night 8 & 10pm.

  • Capitol Riverfront Friday Night Concert Series
    Fridays – The scenic Yards Park on theCapitol Riverfront welcomes you to enjoy live music on Friday nights throughout the summer from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., free of charge. Pack a picnic and gaze out at the Anacostia River as local bands play. Kids will love all the open, green space, along with the park’s famous bridge and fountain area. There are also plenty of food options nearby, including Ice Cream Jubilee.

  • Citi Open:
    Rock Creek Park Tennis Center plays host to this DC summer sporting tradition, now in its 48th year. International tennis stars will battle in front of thousands of fans during the week-long tournament. As always, the lineup features talent from all over the world, including Juan Martin del Potro, Gael Monfils and John Isner in the men’s field and Eugenie Bouchard and Monica Puig in the women’s field. Make sure to check the tournament’s websitefor event, ticket and lineup updates. You can also take advantage of ticket discounts for certain sessions. The tournament continues through Aug. 6.
