Taking it to the Streets – Weekend Haps

  • We start off with two great old school hip-hop shows. First at the Howard Theatre Friday night we have the 10th Annual DC Loves Dilla Tribute Featuring Common, Slum Village and more. The show starts at 9pm.
  • At The Fillmore in Silver Spring Biz Markie will be spinning at the Flashback: 80’s vs 90’s dance party. The party starts at 8pm
  • Saturday the Summer Night Gospel Fest will be at the show place Arena. This concert features Deritrick Haddon, John P Kee and New Life Community Choir, Le’Andria Johnson and more. The show starts at 7pm.
  • Mint Condition will be at the Fillmore in Silver Spring Saturday for a night of great R and B. The show starts at 7:30.
  • 76 Degrees West Band with Jimmy Sommers and special guest Tom Browne will be at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club on Saturday for a night a dance starting at 8pm
  • Now if you’re in search for a job on Monday July 13th there will be a job fair at the Conventions Center from 10am to 3pm. There will be three Career Fairs under one roof. Engineering, technology: Nursing and Healthcare: and Professional. There will be over 100’s jobs available.
