Taking it to the Streets Weekend Haps

  • This Friday join WHUR and our own Darryl Haley for the Music at the Monument featuring lot’s of local talented musicians. It all takes place at the Sylvan Theater on the National Monument grounds. So come out and bring the entire family
  • Now on Saturday, The Café Mocha Radio show will host “Salute Her”: Superwomen Making A Difference”. It’s taking place at the Howard theatre from 11am to 2pm. Some of this years honorees will include, Sybrina Fulton co-founder of the Trayvon Martin Foundation, Omarosa, Television personality and ordained minister, and our very own Trscina Grey. So come out for this great event honoring women making a difference.
  • Now Saturday night you can see 5-time Grammy winner Diana Krall with the Wolf Trap orchestra at Wolftrap, as she brings her “Wallflower World Tour” to the DMV. The show starts at 8pm.
  • On Monday Grammy Nominated PJ Morton will be at the Howard Theatre. Doors open at 6 and show time is at 8pm.
