  • For Black History Month, there’s an exhibit at the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum, “Black Wings” – African American Pioneer Aviators. Learn about African American pioneers who battled discrimination for a place in the sky. For more information, go to
  • For some entertainment……Tonight at the Howard Theatre you can check out Hip Hop super group Naughty By Nature on their 25th Anniversary tour, doors opening at 6 and show time at 8pm.
  • Also at the Howard Theatre, on Friday night, songwriter and singer “The Dream” will be in concert starting at 8pm.
  • Saturday you can join Angela Stribling of “Pillow Talk” at the T-Mobile store at 8903 Woodyard Rd. in Clinton Maryland, from 12noon-2pm. Come say hello to Angela and see what great deals T-Mobile has for you and your whole family.
  • Also on Saturday, a special concert is taking place to support Howard University students. The Giving Spirit Concert, a celebration of gospel to support students of Howard University. This effort is to assist students with scholarships, dormitory fees, books, etc. It’s from 7pm to 10pm at Crampton Auditorium. Purchase tickets from Ticketmaster or call 540-843-48-hundred.
  • On Sunday Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will be at the Verizon center to take on our hometown Washington Wizards at 1pm.
  • Looking ahead ….On Tuesday March 1st Cee-lo Green presents the Love Train Tour at the Howard Theatre. Doors open at 9, showtime is 9:30.
