  • Tomorrow join our own Big Darryl Haley for “Music at the Monument” at the Sylvan Theatre on the National Mall starting at 5pm. Performances by Kia Bennett, Konshens The MC and The Fix.
  • On Saturday, check out Triscina Grey at the T-Mobile store in the Capital Center Blvd from 12noon to 2pm.
  • On Saturday in Ashburn, Va it’s the 2nd Annual “Bram Brew Fest” hosted by the Lost Rhino Retreat. There will be over 25 local breweries from Virginia and Maryland. That’s this Saturday from 12noon to 6pm. .
  • Saturday night, head over to the Fillmore in Silver Spring for the Fillmore Flashback: 80’s vs 90’s dance party with special guest DJ Biz Markie. It all kicks off at 8pm
  • Saturday night at the Kennedy Center check out the legendary R&B group, Boys II Men performing all their hits. Show time is 8pm. A few tickets are still on sale so get yours today.
  • Now on Saturday and Sunday come out and enjoy the annual “Wine in the Wood’s” Festival at the symphony wood in Columbia Maryland. There will be wine education seminars, great food and live entertainment. That’s Saturday from 11am to 6pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Sunday
  • Tomorrow the Ivy Vine Charities is hosting their 10th Annual Charity Golf tournament at the Bretton Woods Golf Course in Germantown, Md. More information is at
  • Questlove of the Roots and of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon will be Deejaying at the legendary Howard Theater. The party kicks off at 8pm.
