This Morning on Taking it to the Streets

This morning it’s all about keeping our youth occupied with activities and safe this summer. We know that idol time can be dangerous for our youth and my guest this morning makes sure youngsters in the District have lots of activities to keep them engaged, informed, and out of harm’s way while they are out of school. Officer Arthur Douglas is a School Resource Officer for the Metropolitan Police Department

The Beat the Streets Initiative by Metropolitan Police Department has a host of activities across the city to engage youth in meaningful events to keep them active and safe during the summer. More information is on their facebook page at beat the streets dc.
