We’re Preparing Our Youth for A Successful School Year

The school bells will be ringing soon and WHUR wants to help make this a successful year for youth across the DMV.  We are teaming up with FedEx and Briar Patch Shredding to host a back to school supply drive.  My guest is Renee Nash – WHUR News and Public Affairs Director

WHUR Back to School Supply Drive and Shredding event is Saturday, August 11thfrom 9am to 12pm at the Bowie Town Center.  Bring school supplies for youth in need in the DMV and WHUR, FedEx, and Briar Patch Shredding and Recycling will shred up to three boxes of your unwanted documents for free.  It’s that easy.  Do a little something for our youth… and WHUR will do something for you!!!  For details, log on to whur.com.
