Hol’ Up! Did Faith Evans And Stevie J Get Married?

Inquiring minds would like to know what exactly is behind suspicious tweets between R&B singer Faith Evans and producer/reality show star Stevie J. Did the two finally take the plunge after reuniting for love a second time? It sure seems like it.

Stevie J. tweeted “I love you Faith Renee Jordan” early Wednesday morning. And Faith responded “I love you back Steven Aaron Jordan” shortly after.

Multiple media outlets are reporting the two applied for a marriage license on July 13. MTO is now reporting the two eloped in Vegas in front of a handful of close family and friends.

Faith confirmed in an interview with The Breakfast Club last March that she and Stevie J. dated years ago following the death of her late husband Biggie Smalls. She admit in an interview with Essence that she never really took Stevie seriously but it sounds like Stevie’s persistence may have won the “Love Like This” singer over.

It’s no secret the two have been working together in the studio over the last few years making music together. The two have been more than open with PDA over the past couple of years as well. In an interview last year Faith said that she and Stevie’s friendship spanned over 25 years and that he had back when he loaned her money after hitting a rough patch. For that. he has always held a special place in her heart.

Her upcoming single “A Minute” will officially be released on July 27.
