Beyonce and Jay-Z move up in their conquest for generational wealth as the couple has now become billionaires.

As of this week, due to the couple’s most recent business moves, the two have a new combined net worth of $1.255 billion. According to Forbes, Beyonce’s single net worth is $355 million, while her husband’s is $900 million. The singer tends to sell more records and has managed to keep up her stage persona enticing audiences usually much bigger than those of her husband’s in her shows, which has kept her around the $100 million mark in pretax annual earnings.

Jay-Z has managed to build much of his empire either by buying pieces of other companies or starting his own. Among some of his recent ventures, the Roc Nation CEO filed paperwork to launch his own investment company this year. He’s in the restaurant industry, real estate, has his own line of champagne, and invested $20 million into an app (Jetsmarter) which brands itself as “uber for private jets” allowing customers unlimited access to private jets across the country for $9,000 a year.

Two years ago, the mogul purchased the streaming service, Tidal, for $56 million. Sprint’s investment valued the company at $600 million. Beyoncé, who also owns a chunk of Tidal, initially made her album Lemonade available exclusively on the streaming service. Jay-Z did the same with last year’s 4:44. The duo repeated the strategy with Everything Is Love earlier this summer to drive subscribers to the service.

Their latest stadium tour, On The Run II, is projected to earn over $200 million (and possibly more) over 48 dates.
