Following her EPIC Coachella performance last week, Beyonce announced an exclusive $100,000 scholarship to award four historically black colleges and universities.

Queen Bey added four additional HBCUs to receive scholarship funding. After wrapping up her second performance at Coachella, the singer added Grambling State University, Fisk University (Mathew Knowles’ college), Morehouse College, and Texas Southern University as reported by TV One.

The requirements are stated on her BEYGOOD site, and in order to qualify for the scholarship, “the disciplines will include literature, creative arts, African- American studies, science, education, business, communications, social sciences, computer science and engineering. All applicants must maintain a 3.5 GPA or above. All finalists and winners will be selected by the universities. Winners will be announced this summer.” Google also announced they were matching the singer’s previous $100K.”

This is the second consecutive year that Beyonce has financed scholarships. This year, to commemorate the one year anniversary of her critically acclaimed album, Lemonade, she has partnered with four colleges and universities across the nation to introduce the Formation Scholars program.

Jay-Z is also reportedly funding a similar scholarship in order to send kids to college in partnership with his Shawn Carter Foundation. The deadline for this scholarship is April 30.
