According to Variety magazine, Big Boi of Outkast has become the first artist to join L.A. Reid‘s Hitco Entertainment since the company’s launch.

Big Boi was previously signed to Def Jam Records where he dropped two solo records and Epic Records where he dropped two more solo projects.

His latest album Boomiverse dropped this past June. In addition to this album drop and new signing, he has also shared new tour dates for the third leg of his Daddy Fatt Saxxx Tour, according to XXL.com.

Hitco’s creation follows Reid’s parting from Epic Records in 2017, amidst sexual harassment allegations in May.

Big Boi has also dropped a number of singles since his split from duo group Outkast.

Check out his song “In The South”, a song dedicated to the south which features southern rappers Gucci Mane and the late Pimp C.
