‘Chicago Fire’ Star DuShon Monique Brown Dead At 49

We are sad to report “Chicago Fire” star DuShon Monique Brown has died, at the age of 49.

TMZ reports Brown admitted herself into a Chicago hospital a few days prior after experiencing chest pains. She was released after a few tests but on Friday, Mar 23 she was reported dead at Olympia Field Hospital.

Brown played Connie, a secretary and assistant to Chief Bodan. Brown joined the series in 2012. She also had roles in shows like “Boss”, “Empire”, “Prison Break” and “Shameless”.

The executive producer of “Chicago Fire”, Dick Wolf issued a statement following the news of her death.

“The Chicago Fire family is devastated to lose on of its own. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dushon’s family and we will all miss her.”

The cause of death hasn’t been given, but there was an autopsy performed.

Brown leaves to mourn a daughter.
