Kevin Hart To Help 18 College Students Earn A College Degree

Kevin Hart, along with his ‘Help From The Hart’ foundation, gave three Xavier University of Louisiana students scholarships based on their academic and personal accomplishments. And that’s not all. He teamed up with the United Negro College Fund and KIPP — Knowledge Is Power Program — to help 18 students earn a college degree.

The new $600,000 scholarship program will provide funding to support KIPP students from eight cities attending 11 historically black colleges and universities.

“Education and knowledge are powerful,” said Kevin. “I just wanted to do my part in providing opportunities for our future leaders, especially from my Philly hometown, and show support for (historically black colleges and universities). This is just the beginning; trust me when I tell you there are a lot more kids who want to go to college who don’t have the money to make it happen.”

Congrats to the deserving students. More importantly, BIG UPS to Kevin Hart for investing in our bright future.
