‘Power’ Threatens “Legal Action” Against Leaker

Leakers have infiltrated HBO and Game of Thrones and now Power. Unreleased episodes of Power have been shared on social media and Starz wants blood!

A statement released by Starz on Wednesday says:

“The final three episodes of Power’s fourth season were leaked online due to a breach of the press screening room. This seems to be a case of password sharing that resulted in homemade videos of the episodes which were taped off a TV screen and posted online,” the home of Power, Outlander and American Gods adds. “Starz has begun forensic investigations and will take legal action against the responsible parties.”

The perpetrator who leaked unreleased episodes of Power was not as sophisticated as previous hackers. He/she simply recorded the episodes on a personal cell phone and posted onto their social media page, so it won’t be as difficult to track that individual down. And those who shared the leaked episodes could also face “legal action.”

The show’s season wraps up September 3 but has already been renewed for a Season 5.
