In an emotional interview, R. Kelly‘s ex wife, Andrea Kelly, went on Sister Circle Live to discuss the abuse she suffered in her marriage to the singer and how her suicide attempt led her to leave him.

“I actually climbed up on the balcony and I had one foot propped against the wall and my other foot, I climbed up on the ledge,” she recollected. “I remembered looking down and it’s almost like God was able to let me see in the future and I saw my body laid in blood.”

The singer’s ex wife also took time on the show to speak to the parents of another one of Kelly’s believed victims. In July of 2017, Buzzfeed News reported the 50-year-old singer was allegedly running a sex cult and had taken Jocelyn Savage, a 20-year-old aspiring music artist hostage, her parents claimed.

“It was as if she was brainwashed. [She] looked like a prisoner — it was horrible,” she said. “I hugged her and hugged her. But she just kept saying she’s in love and [Kelly] is the one who cares for her. I don’t know what to do. I hope that if I get her back, I can get her treatment for victims of cults. They can reprogram her. But I wish I could have stopped it from happening.”

“Know that she is loved and she is going to come out of this because you have laid that foundation for her,” she said on the show. “Keep her prayed up.”
