Over the next 12 months, they plan to assist over 130,000 people get a safe place to live, Secretary Marcia Fudge says in a comment. Since homeless people don’t have a mailing address and it’s unlikely they have filed taxes under a bank account, there is a special set of steps they will have to follow to receive the money.
