American Rescue Plan Gives $5 Million To Homeless People In Stimulus Money

The ARP (American Rescue Plan) says they are here to help those in need of housing and rental assistance.

$5  billion dollars in vouchers specifically in homeless people has been allocated in the case people need to buy hotel room or seek shelter immediately.

Over the next 12 months, they plan to assist over 130,000 people get a safe place to live, Secretary Marcia Fudge says in a comment. Since homeless people don’t have a mailing address and it’s unlikely they have filed taxes under a bank account, there is a special set of steps they will have to follow to receive the money.
