6 year old electrocuted at MGM remains in critical condition…

6 year old Zynae Green who was electrocuted after touching a fence near a decorative display remains in critical condition. MGM has released a statement calling it a horrible accident. They also sent their thoughts and prayers to the family. A vigil for Green was held yesterday in her home town of Calvert County.

West Point names their first A.A. Superintendent…

West Point makes history after naming it’s first African American Superintendent. Lt. General Darryl Williams will become the first African American to command the U.S. Military Academy since its founding in 1802. Williams who is from Alexandria, Virginia will be sworn in later today.

Capital Gazette still getting death threats…

The Capital Gazette the scene of bloodshed when a man walked in and opened fire killing 5 employees, says they are still getting death threats. The owner says they are evening getting emails praising the gunman for his actions. A fund for mass shooting victims, families and survivors and a memorial scholarship fund for journalism students has been established. Two of the victims were alumni of the University of Maryland’s, College Park Journalism School.
