AUTUMN JOI AND FRIENDS GO VIRAL AFTER FRYING CICADAS

This weekend, WHUR’s own Autumn Joi gained traction on social media while having some unconventional cooking “fun!” Cicada season is upon us and while many of avoid them like the plague, Autumn and her friends took a much bolder approach and made them into a special delicacy! This insect has emerged after being underground for 17 YEARS & folks out here are frying them up & eating them! One user wrote, “Please don’t start another pandemic 😷” while another wrote “Imagine just waking up after 17 years to be someone’s lunch😂.” Autumn herself wrote in the comments of The Shaderoom to clarify that the cicadas “actually taste like crispy chicken skin!” Would you try an specialty Autumn Joi deep fried cicada?
