Grand jury indicts four teens on rape charges…

A Montgomery County grand jury has indicted four 15-year- olds on charges of rape. The Damascus High School JV football players are accused of raping four other teammates with a broomstick as a part of some so-called hazing ritual.

The four teens charged as adults have been identified as E. Caleb Thorpe, Kristian Lee, Jean Abedi, and Will Smith. Each has been charged with 8 counts. One count of 1st-degree rape, three counts of attempted first-degree rape and four counts of conspiracy to commit rape. If they are found guilty of the charges they face life in prison.

A fourth teen has been charged as a juvenile in the case. His name has not been released. The alleged incident happened on the day of Halloween at the school in the locker room after classes.

Massive security breach for Marriott Hotel customers…

It has happened again. There has been another massive data breach at a company. This time it is Marriott Hotel Starwood customers.

Officials say last week some 500-million customers personal information may have been taken. The information compromised include credit card and debit card numbers and expiration dates. According to officials, the breach applies to customers on or before September 10th of this year.

Marriott has set up a website, and a call center (1-877-273-9481) to answer customer questions about the security breach.
