Look for heightened security this holiday weekend…

Thousands of people are expected on the National Mall this holiday weekend and DC police say they are ready for the crowds. Residents will notice a visible police presence. Sources say it is out of an abundance of caution and not related to a specific threat. The 4th of July parade starts at 11:45 at Constitution Avenue and 7th Street in NW.

District police offer 25K for information in a gruesome murder…

DC Police are offering a 25-thousand dollar reward for information into who shot and killed 19 year old Heineken NcNeil. He was found over night stuffed in a trash can in N.E. and burning.

Baltimore police investigating a note found in a police van, that causing more tension between police and the black community…

Troubling news out of Baltimore this morning. Baltimore Police officials are looking into a picture of a sign that was posted inside of the door of a police van that reads, “Enjoy ur ride, cuz we sure will”.
