The search for the killer of a young mother and toddler continues..

The killer of a mother and her toddler remains on the loose in Prince George’s County. Investigators are following leads but no arrests have been made in the shooting deaths of 26 year old Neshante Davis and 2 year old Chloe Davis-Green. P.G. County State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks has vowed to find their killers.
Davis was a new 2nd grade teacher at Bradbury Heights Elementary School in Capitol Heights.

DC Mayor wants to extend the school year to help close achievement gap…

It’s Education week here in the District and at 11 DC Mayor Bowser and Schools Chancellor Henderson will unveil their plan to close the achievement gap among students. The solution, increasing the school year for some schools.

Md Gov. set to deliver “State of the State” address…

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is set to deliver his 2nd State of the State Address at Noon. He will discuss the 2017 budget among other things. Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker will be in attendance and afterwards he will testify before a Senate committee on the need for the Governor to provide funding to help improve the county’s health care system.
