DC police continue to search for who shot a teen this morning in S.E….

There’s no update on the teen shot overnight near Naylor Road in S.E.. At last check the unidentified teen was listed in critical condition. No arrests have been made in this case.

A political battle is brewing in Prince George’s County over increases to property taxes for schools…

A legal fight might be in the works between Prince George’s County between County Executive Rushern Baker and the County Council. The County Executive has vowed to line item veto a part of the council’s budget bill, approved yesterday, that deals with the property tax increases for schools. The council approved a 4% increase instead of his 11.45% increase. The council is set to meet later this afternoon. This issue may have to be solved in the courts.

The former President of the NAACP in Spoke, Washington says she identifies herself as black…

Rachel Dolezal broke her silence this morning on the “Today” Show. She told Matt Lauer from as early as 5 she saw herself as black. Dolezal who resigned from her post yesterday amid the controversy over her ethnicity, says she will never give up fighting for human rights.
