Metro bus hi jacking by juveniles leaves a pedestrian dead…

A person is dead and a Metro bus driver was stabbed when the bus he was operating was hi jacked by 3 juveniles. Investigators say the bus driver was stabbed with a screw driver. One suspect is in police custody. The bus is currently at Minnesota Avenue and Nannie Hellen Burroughs Avenue in N.E..

The head of the NTSB unveils the cause of the L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station smoke death…

Right now the Chairman of the NTSB Christopher Hart is discussing their findings in
the cause of last year’s fatal L’Enfant Metro Station smoke death. Hart began by stating the mission of the NTSB is to learn from accident investigations and prevent future ones. Hart said the cause for last years death was safety oversight. 61 year old Carol Glover was killed. her son’s have filed a $50 million dollar suit against Metro.

The gazebo that Tamir Rice was shot & killed in could be headed to the District…

The gazebo that 12 year old Tamir Rice was shot and killed in by Cleveland Police 2 years ago could be headed to DC. The Smithsonian has asked city leaders not to demolish it. Museum officials want to place the gazebo inside of the new African American History & Culture Museum on the national mall.
