Attorney for slain officer Jacai Colson demands the truth

The lawyer representing the family of the Prince George’s County officer killed in a friendly fire incident last year says his clients want “truth and transparency” to come from of its wrongful death lawsuit against the county and the county’s police department.  Last year officer Jacai Colson was shot to death by a fellow officer who mistook Colson for a suspect during a shootout near police headquarters in Palmer Park.

Report details missteps by James Comey

A new report says former FBI Director James Comey mishandled the FBI’s investigation of the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz says Comey was insubordinate and deviated from standard investigative procedures.  Horowitz does not criticize Comey’s decision not to prosecute Clinton for mishandling sensitive emails when she was secretary of state. The report also notes no evidence that there was a conspiracy within the FBI to help Clinton defeat Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
