The DMV Gets The First Snow Fall Of The Season, A Fourth Person Charged In Death Of 10 Year Old DC Girl

The DMV gets the first snow fall of the season…

Several school systems were either closed or had a delayed start this morning. Officials were concerned about the wintery mix arriving today. Charles County Schools have decided to close 1 hour early.

The Federal Government opened on time today. Employees had the option of using unscheduled leave or teleworking. Stay tune to WHUR for more weather related changes.

A fourth person charged in death of 10 year old DC girl…

DC Police have arrested a fourth person in connection with the July 16th shooting death of 10-year-old Makiyah Wilson. The person’s name has not been released.

Three male suspects also arrested in her death made a court appearance yesterday in DC Superior Court. They learned that they would have to remain in jail until their trial. There next court date has not been released.

Makiyah Wilson was shot and later died as she walked to the ice cream truck in her Northeast DC neighborhood. It followed four masked men stepping outside of a black vehicle that simply opened fire on a group of people in the 300 block of 53rd Street Northeast.

Two local police officers arrested for force sex from transgender prostitutes…

A Prince George’s County Police Officer and a Metropolitan Police Officer have been suspended. Both of the unnamed officers are accused of forcing transgender prostitutes to perform sex acts on them to avoid being arrested.

The Prince George’s County Officer was reportedly off duty at the time of the incident. He however was in a police cruiser in the District at the time of the act. There is video of the MPD Officer. You can see his police department t-shirt and he is reportedly naked from the waist down.
