The Weekend Review

New Edition 2New Edition, the R&B group formed in Boston hit the scene during the late 80’s and 90’s during the “Boy Band” movement and has lasted for the better part of 30 years.

The original group members included Ricky Bell, Michael Bivens, Bobby Brown, Ronnie DeVoe and Ralph Tresvant. Soul Train Awards 2012 - Show

As Bobby left to launch his solo career, the group eventually recruited Johnny Gill.  As a whole the groups hits include, “Candy Girl”, “Mr. Telephone Man”, “Can You Stand the Rain”, “If it isn’t Love”, and the list goes on.
