Calling all my HBCU family. It’s time to reconnect, celebrate, and focus on our health. The DC Metro HBCU Alumni Alliance is gearing up for a weekend of activities that includes a walk and a party with a purpose event. My guest this morning who is going to give us the rundown of the weekend is Jamie Tetty – President of the DC Metro HBCU Alliance.

The 4th Annual DC Metro HBCU Alumni Alliance 5k Run/2k Walk with a Health, Hunger, and Higher Education Fair is Saturday, June 25th @ 8am on the campus of Howard University. HBCU Summer Breeze 2 Day Party is Saturday, June 25th from 4pm to 9pm at Redrocks Neapolitan Bistro on H Street in NE.
