A Poetic Songbird Brings a Surprise to Joe’s Place

MMAIMOUNAaimouna Youssef kicks off the 2014 season premier of Spoken Word @ Joe’s Place and she’s bringing a surprise and her BFF.

This beautiful lady is more than a Poet and Vocalist, she is the natural essence of entertainment. Most likely because she has strong African American as well as Native Indian roots running through her blood that keeps her focused on what matters to the human beings of this world. You might want to call her an organic vocalist but the title is just not accurate enough. What she gives you is an all natural performance every time she hits the stage.

Well, this week Maimouna Youssef graces Joe’s Place to share a bit of music, poetry and some of who she is when she’s not bring fire to the stage.
