Driver In Fatal Bowie Crash Remains In Jail

The mother of two who was driving the vehicle where six people were killed will stay in jail. Authorities say Dominique Taylor was driving while drunk when her car went off the road and struck a tree on February 2 in Bowie.


Stating that she is a danger to the community, authorities say the driver in a fatal Bowie crash that killed five children and one man should stay in jail. On February 2nd the SUV Dominique Taylor was driving went off Route 301 near Pointer Ridge Drive and crashed into a tree. Police say the five children, two of them Taylor’s, were not wearing seat belts. Authorities say Taylor was driving drunk with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit. She faces up to 60 years in jail.
