PROMOTIONAL RULES AND GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES

Congratulations and thank you for listening

  • Listeners can win once every 60 days.  The listener will be notified by the promotions department of disentitlement should they win a contest within the 60-day ineligibility period.
  • Only one (1) winner per household.  WHUR, Howard University Faculty, Staff and their immediate families and current students are ineligible to win.  No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter and win a contest.
  • Prizes are available for pick-up with a valid photo I.D. on the following days, unless day is a holiday or specified during contest:

  • Prizes must be picked up in person or by a person with *proper authorization.  No prizes will be mailed to winner unless specified in contest rules.
  • Prizes may be picked up with * proper authorization. – The winner must email promotions@whur.com: (1) a copy of the winner’s valid photo I.D. (2) A description of the prize and (3) the name of the person who will be claiming prize.  In addition, the person picking up the prize must present a valid photo I.D.
  • Prizes must be redeemed within 14 business days from the date of winning or prize is forfeited. (Unclaimed prizes are still considered a winning prize, therefore the once every 60-day winning rule remains effective.)
  • Contest winners can pick-up two (2) prizes maximum.  Their own and one (1) other winner – once every 60 days and with *proper authorization.
  • Qualifying for a contest to be eligible as a finalist for a grand prize does not make one a winner, unless they are awarded a qualifying prize for the grand prize.  However, a contest qualifier is ineligible to participate in other contests until the grand prize is awarded.
  • WHUR is not responsible for replacing tickets for cancelled, postponed or inclement weather shows or performances.
