Homeowner Kills Teen During Break-in
(Prince George’s County, MD) — Police say a homeowner shot and killed an armed teenager who broke into his home in Riverdale, Maryland. Officers were called to a residence Wednesday evening after the owner said he shot someone who attempted to break into his home. After the shooting, the 18-year-old suspect reportedly ran from the scene. He was eventually dropped off at an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. The break-in was captured on surveillance footage and a preliminary investigation revealed that the home was indeed a target. The homeowner will not face any charges.
