A groundbreaking new documentary will debut on May 6th on Netflix. “In Our Mother’s Gardens” examines the influence and difficult realities of black motherhood, through the eyes of daughters, mothers and grandmothers. It’s produced by ARRAY, filmmaker Ava Duvernay’s independent film distribution company and directed by Shantrelle Lewis.
