Mistakes and Fraud with the Paycheck Protection Program

This a cautionary tale and advice for those who may consider applying for… or even defrauding the PPP system.

PPP, the Paycheck Protection Program was designed to keep small businesses afloat after they were hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic last year.  Another round is in President Biden’s COVID relief plan now making it’s way through the U.S. Senate. But not every person who applied did it correctly.  Some made mistakes.  Others should not have applied because they weren’t eligible… and they knew it.  Now some are facing federal prosecution.  This a cautionary tale and advice for those who may consider applying for… or even defrauding the PPP system.
