Parents Mourning the Death of a Child

Coping skills and counseling information for parents who have lost children.

It has been a horror show of deadly violence in Washington over the past week.  During a five-day stretch last week… 19 people were shot.  Seven killed.  Two of them were children.  But violence isn’t the only way parents lose children of any age.  Illness and misadventure are also factors.  But their parents are often left without the tools to mourn.   As we recognize National Bereaved  Parents Month,  we talk about the pain and the challenges of grieving the loss of a child.
