En Vogue, DC Arts Festival and Watching Oprah

Music and culture are the highlights of the weekend here in the DMV

 

Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club presents the legendary group,En Vogue, tonight and tomorrow, both show kick off at 8pm.


DC Black Theatre & Arts Festival kicks off its 10thyear of performances and runs through July 7th.  The 15-day arts celebration is packed with music, film, dance, and visual arts.  More information here:

 Watching Oprah: The Oprah Winfrey Show and American Culture: is in it’s final weekend at the National Museum of African American History and Culture.Watching Oprah explores the entertainer’s early life, her wildly successful daytime talk show and her powerful influence on popular culture. You can view artifacts from Harpo Studios in Chicago, as well as video clips, photographs and interactive elements. 10am- 5pm and admission is free.
