Prince George’s County, MD (Monday, April 19, 2021) – Another case of youth violence has left a teen dead and a 12-year-old DC boy facing murder charges. Prince George’s County police have charged the boy in the shooting death of 13-year-old King Douglas of Upper Marlboro.
Police say Douglas was fatally shot Saturday night following a clash between two groups of youth at the Ritchie Station Marketplace shopping center in Forestville, Maryland. The name of the youth suspect has not been released because he is charged as a minor. Another youth was stabbed in the melee. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police are still looking for suspects in the stabbing.
