(Wednesday, December 1, 2021) – The death toll from Tuesday’s shooting at Oxford High School in Michigan has risen to four. A 17-year-old died today of injuries at McLaren Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan.
Authorities are still trying to piece together a motive for why the alleged shooter, a 15-year-old student, opened fire on his classmates killing four and injuring seven others. The dead youth are identified at 17-year-old Justin Shilling, 14-year-old Hana St. Juliana, 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin, and 16-year-old Tate Myre.
The suspected gunman has not yet been identified. Police say the gun used in the shooting was apparently purchased by the boy’s father just days ago. It is still not clear how the boy got his hands on the weapon.
