Changes and Growth in Charles County

We talk to Maryland State Senator Arthur Ellis about how the county is changing.

If you’re over 30 and grew up in the DMV, you’ve known Charles County as a sleepy, distant rural county down there somewhere.  It is far from that now.  The population has exploded.  According to U.S. census reports, the population has grown by 20-thousand people every ten years since 1990. With that growth has come growing pains.  We talk to Maryland State Senator Arthur Ellis about how the county is changing.
